Trenity is a master’s student working with Dr. Ashley Burkett. His research interests are unconventional reservoir and source rock characterization, basin analysis, and micropaleontology with a focus on benthic foraminifera.
Trenity is from Forney, Texas, a small town outside of Dallas. He first came to Oklahoma State University in 2001 where he graduated with a B.A in History. He returned to Stillwater in 2013 to complete his B.S. in Geology. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, he moved to Odessa, Texas where he worked as a Reservoir Evaluation Engineer for Halliburton Energy Services. In 2015, Trenity fulfilled a long-standing dream and returned to the classroom as a teacher of high school physics.
